Main Navigation
EmEase features five main navigation areas, accessible from the bottom of your screen:
Home
The Home screen is your starting point in the app. Here you'll find:
A prominent Start Session button to begin processing immediately
Quick access to the Learn section for educational resources
Shortcuts to your Targets and Grounding exercises
Recent activity and progress summaries
Journey
The Journey screen is where you'll manage your EMDR targets:
View all your created targets in one place
Track progress for each target with visual distress level charts
Create new targets by tapping the "+" button
Access detailed information about each target by tapping on it
Session
The Session area allows you to:
Select a specific target to work on
Start a "Quick Session" without selecting a target
Customize your session settings (duration, movement pattern, etc.)
Access your session history and insights
Grounding
The Grounding section offers various techniques to help you:
Prepare for EMDR sessions
Reconnect with the present moment
Manage any overwhelming emotions
Practice mindfulness between sessions
Profile
Your Profile contains:
Account settings (name, email)
Appearance preferences (dark/light mode)
Privacy & security options
Data management tools
Starting Your Journey

Create your first target in the Journey section

Select a target or choose a quick session
Rate your current distress level
Optional: Complete a grounding exercise

Rate your post-session distress level
